Catchin' Up

We made our way back to the city of Santiago this morning after a late night last night. Needless to say it was a long drive. We checked into our hotel and then slept the afternoon away. After that we hit the town and went to this super rad restaurant in the city called Liguria. After a 3 hour dinner we went into the Gas Lamp of South America, Buena Vista. We were recommended to this bar / club called Etniko that turned out to be the spot in Santiago. We chilled there for awhile and then took a tour of Buena Vista and found a couple of places that we wanted to check out in the next few days. It was hard to capture in photographs but we really felt as if we were in the heart of a South American city in primetime. I've never seen so many people out on the town this late and as we were heading back to our hotel it seemed as if things were just heating up. I finally was able to upload all the pictures from the last couple of days, check 'em out here.

Another Evening at La Casa San Regis

Still on the same computer so unfortunately no pictures but I do have stories. Catskiing at El Arpa yesterday was the most amazing snowboarding ever, blue skies, with some extra nice powdery snow. It was so amazing to have only 9 people on 4,000 acres of terrain. It felt like we owned our own mountain. We woke up today to it pouring rain so instead of snowboarding we did what any American teenagers would do as an alternative activity while visiting a foreign land, we went wine tasting. Michael and I are becoming quite sophisticated down here, we might just come back looking like the monopoly guy, we do already have the moustaches. I actually really enjoyed the experience, it was something I´ve never done before. I have a bunch of pictures and it´s killing me to not be able to post them but I should be able to do it tommorrow when we leave Los Andes (one of the raddest towns I´ve ever visited) and head back to the city for 2 nights. But before that, we hit the town.
